Al Ittihad Park, Palm Jumeriah
This verdant Palm Jumeirah park is a small sanctuary in the hustle and bustle of bustling Dubai life. With a 2.5km running loop and various workout equipment scattered around, anyone can work out for their full body. You can even bring your little ones as there are shaded play areas for them to enjoy.
Located in the heart of the residential community of Barsha, runners can enjoy the scenery with plenty of shaded areas and a central pond. Do you have little ones? Bring them along as there are plenty of playgrounds to keep them entertained.
The beach trail
Starting at Jumeriah Beach, past Kite Beach and Dubai Offshore Sailing Club, before the Dubai Canal, this track crosses most of Dubai’s public shorelines. Travel through a range of areas from sleepy local neighborhoods to bubbly beach-side strips of food vendors.
Palm Jumeriah Boardwalk
This 11 km walk stretches all around the Palm Jumeirah, from Rixos to One&Only. Anyone can run, walk, skate or ride a scooter along this promenade, while enjoying panoramic views of the Dubai skyline and the Arabian Gulf.
JLT Park is a welcoming green setting just outside Dubai Marina. It’s a popular spot for an outdoor run or evening stroll, or if you prefer, a cricket match. JLT Park has a squishy blue running track and lots of free workout machines.
If you want to combine running and sightseeing, the Dubai Marina 9km track is a scenic route you can take. Surrounded by modern skyscrapers, calm water and beautiful boats, this route is especially enjoyable during the winter months. Dubai Marina can get a little busy with late night dining, so be sure to get started before the crowds arrive.

With an on-site race track and plenty of wildlife in its surroundings, this place acts as a peaceful getaway from the city’s cityscape. Make your way in a 4×4 vehicle, as the lakes are desert terrain. It’s about an hour’s drive away, so plan your fitness routine accordingly.
Mamzar Beach Park
One of Dubai’s best kept secrets is Mamzar Beach Park. With a 4km running track, runners can bask in the scenery. It would be a shame not to take advantage of this beautiful place, so bring your bathing suit and take a dip afterwards.
Meydan Sobha Cycling and Running Path
Enjoy your weekly run overlooking one of the most iconic skylines. It is primarily a cycle track, but there are running tracks, for any athletes who wish to stay on foot. It is also ecological.
This park located in the eastern part of the city has a 4.5 km course that all runners can enjoy. Mushrif Park is a family friendly environment with plenty of wildlife areas, a bike path, soccer fields and designated barbecue areas. Be sure to check out its many family-friendly features with loved ones before or after your run.
Dubai Water Canal
The 6.4 km waterfront track offers mesmerizing views of the Downtown Dubai skyline. Dubai’s five pedestrian canal bridges are a sight in themselves, with unique architecture unlike anything else in the city. Runners can enjoy this trail at any time of the day, the brilliant skyline keeping you company if you are a late night runner.
Located in the middle of Dubai’s urban structures, this park features a 1.4 km running track. It is located right next to Dubai Frame, so you can run while observing the impressive golden structure. This park is also perfect for a leisurely walk around the pond.
